For a class project, we had to immerse ourselves in the online Tolkien fandom. I decided to do a mashup of two things: LOTR and Drunk Texts from Last Night. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy making them so much - or for this blog to become so popular!

Actually Treebeard’s other name was Fangorn and Mount Doom was also called Oroduin, so the first ones are only translations of their other more elaborate names. Never underestimate the ability of Tolkien.

Pretty sure I’m dying. Got to work this morning, was able to stay with my first student for about 20 minutes before I had to leave because I felt incredibly nauseous and my left kidney was hurting. Please don’t be a kidney stone. After 1.5 hours and some pain meds, I’m doing slightly better but I still think I’m going to die. I feel awful.
